Indiana Emergency Response
Commission
for the Local Emergency Planning Committees.

 

Hazardous Material Awareness

This is an 8 Hour class.  This course will train those to NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials
Awareness Levels.  This course is designed to meet the standards and objectives to be tested at the Indiana Department of Homeland Security measures.  This class is now available for online delivery for the classroom portion.  This is designed to meet the classroom requirements for both IFSAC and Indiana DHS requirements to be eligible for the written examination.  Online classes available for $25.00.

 

Hazardous Material Operations

This is an 16 Hour class.  This course will train those to NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials
Operations
Levels.  This course is designed to meet the standards and objectives to be tested at the Indiana Department of Homeland Security measuresComing soon we will be able to offer the classroom portion of this class online.

 

Hazardous Material Technician

This is an 80 Hour class.  This course will train those to NFPA 472 Hazardous Materials
Technician
Levels.  This course is designed to meet the standards and objectives to be tested at the Indiana Department of Homeland Security measures. Coming soon we will be able to offer the classroom portion of this class online.

 

 

                CPR, AED, Medial First Responder and EMT

We offer a variety of different training options from CPR, AED and First aid for the lay
responder to a CPR course for the Processional Rescuer as well as Blood Borne Pathogens Training. Our instructors are American Red Cross and American Heart Association
Certified instructors with years of experience in the EMS and Rescue community.  Let us train your employees to give them not only the knowledge but also the self confidence in knowing what to do for an injured coworker.  These classes can be formatted to meat your scheduling needs.

 

Professional Rescuer CPR

This 8 hour course covers job-related emergency response for professional rescuers
including two-person CPR and resuscitation mask along with Bag-Valve mask usage.  This
certification is good for 2 years

First Responder

Course involves 45 hours of classroom and skills sessions.  Skills include patient assessment, scene size up, AED, CPR, oxygen administration, and bandaging and splinting.  This course will allow those the skills and education to take the State of Indiana First Responder written and practical skills exams.

 

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)

Course involves 130 hours of classroom and skills sessions.  Course also requires 8 hours of hospital and 8 hours of ambulance clearing time.  This course will instruct all first responder skills with the addition of Non Visualized airways, BVM support, Spinal Immobilization, basic medications, IV maintenance, and Ambulance Operations.  This course will allow those the skills and education to take the State of Indiana Emergency Medical Technician Basic written and practical skills exams.
